OOOOh, I hadn't heard about John. I used to see him around NW all of the time too. He is a bit of Gary Larson and Edward Gorey and I loved his perspective. I'm sad.

I remember eating pizza with him at New York Pizza on 23rd in the 80's and always knowing he was coming up the sidewalk by catching the sight of his red hair.

His attitude was amazing. He seemed like a sage to me (a young woman in my 20's with much to learn).

He changed perspectives and offered much. He will be missed by so many.
